Business leaders, investors network at maiden Property & Polo Classic

THE first-ever Property & Polo Classic, an event that seeks to bring together over 500 influential business leaders, investors and financial institutions under one roof to network has been launched in Accra.

The event, dubbed, “Where Society Meets Opportunity,” and scheduled to take place on March 7, 2026 at the Accra Polo Club, has Nilex Properties as the headline sponsor.

It would give property owners and those seeking to owe property to do business amidst entertainment and networking.

Highlight

Attendants, mostly the business community in Ghana and the sub-region, would also be thrilled by polo patrons from East and West Africa’s finest players.

One of the highlights of the event would be a real estate showcase, where Ghana’s leading property developers and investment firms will present exclusive opportunities spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments — offering guests direct access to deals not available through conventional channels.

Speaking at the launch, one of the organisers, who is a lawyer and a legal technology entrepreneur Lucie Blay said with a guest list drawn from banking, law, finance, real estate, and the creative industries, the event would offer unparalleled access to the people shaping Ghana’s economic future.

“Against the backdrop of world-class polo matches, guests will engage with Ghana’s premier real estate developers and financial institutions in an atmosphere of refinement and exclusivity,” she added.

Assurance

Ms Blay gave the assurance that patrons would not only network and be treated to classic polo contest, “they would also be exposed to fine dining and hospitality scene and also enjoy signature welcome cocktails, roaming gourmet canapés, and premium table experiences befitting the occasion.”

While thanking Nilex Property for taking up the headline sponsorship, she explained that the event was dedicated to networking, real estate, and polo as well as sustainability.

For his part a co-organiser, an entrepreneur and investor Kwabena Yankey was happy that there were over 20 local and international sponsors, adding that there were property developers from Dubai, UK, and Ghana, that would be selling both luxury and affordability.

“So, we will have a deal room that will be exclusive to the attendants at the event,” he said, adding that there would be one-on-one service at the event.

He was grateful to the sponsors and other partners for having faith in the event, adding that the interest showed so far gave the indication that it should be more frequent than annually.

A British-Ghanaian investment banker Benjamin Mensah, who is the other co-organiser said the organisers wanted to make sure that the event was something that was sustainable and “that will happen as often as you want it to happen”.

He invited property owners and investors to participate in the event because all those that mattered in the real estate and financial sectors would be there to do business with interested investors and property owners.
