Comsys Ghana sweeps 8 honours at 7th National Technology and Communications Awards
Comsys Ghana Limited has emerged as the biggest winner at the 7th National Technology and Communications Awards (NTCA), bagging eight prestigious honours in recognition of its exceptional leadership and innovation in enterprise technology across Ghana and the West African subregion.
The awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation within Ghana’s technology, telecommunications, and digital sectors, reaffirm Comsys Ghana’s status as a dominant force in delivering reliable and transformative ICT solutions for businesses.
The company was recognised as Enterprise Network Infrastructure Provider of the Year, Best Enterprise Solution Provider, Excellence in B2B Customer Experience (ICT), Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the Year, and Transformational Technology Business for National Development. Comsys’s management team also won Corporate Management Team of the Year – Technology Business (Diamond Category).
In individual categories, the Managing Director of Comsys Ghana Limited, Mrs. Funmi Lamptey, was honoured with the Ultimate Woman of the Year (ICT Leadership) award, while Mr. Jonathan Lamptey, CEO of Groupe Comsys, was inducted into the 2025 Technology Hall of Fame.
Mrs. Lamptey’s recognition highlights her pivotal role in steering Comsys Ghana towards sustained innovation and service excellence. Under her leadership, the company has prioritised customer satisfaction, employee growth, and operational efficiency, consolidating its reputation as one of Ghana’s most trusted ICT partners.
“This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class technology solutions that empower businesses, connect communities, and drive Ghana’s digital transformation,” Mrs. Lamptey said after receiving her award.
For over two decades, Comsys Ghana has supported both local and international businesses through secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise solutions. Its nationwide MPLS fibre network, advanced cloud hosting, and robust network security services continue to provide seamless connectivity across multiple sectors.
A standout feature of Comsys’s operations is its Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Service, delivered in partnership with Eutelsat/OneWeb. The service, powered by a ground station in Adjei Kojo, Greater Accra, offers fibre-like latency and speeds of up to 200 Mbps, ensuring real-time communication for businesses in remote areas.
Comsys also operates a private cloud environment that ensures data protection compliance while providing low-latency access to hosted business applications. These services are monitored 24/7 through the company’s Network Operations Centre (NOC), which maintains uninterrupted connectivity for clients.
The multiple recognitions at the NTCA, organisers say, are a reflection of Comsys Ghana’s consistent investment in cutting-edge infrastructure and its contribution to Ghana’s digital economy.
With its continued focus on innovation, customer experience, and sustainable growth, Comsys Ghana is poised to remain a key player in advancing digital transformation and enterprise resilience across Africa.
