Diaspora Property Expo 2025 launched in the US
A platform to facilitate property investment opportunities for Ghanaians abroad has been launched in the United States of America (USA).
Dubbed, the Diaspora Property Expo 2025, it was held on the theme: ‘Gateway to Ghana: Unveiling Opportunities for Global Diaspora Investors’.
It is expected to take place from March 21 to March 23, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
It follows the initial launch in Ghana last November as part of a grand programme to highlight the importance of the two-pronged programme scheduled for the USA and Canada this year.
Addressing the gathering, the Omanhen of the Abeadze Traditional Area, Mankessim, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, emphasised the importance of a hassle-free approach to investing in landed property in Ghana.
Daasebre Ewusi VII, who doubles as the Board Chairman for the Diaspora Property Expo and Nkunim Diaspora City, said, “DPE 2025 is of critical importance not only for the development of real estate in Ghana but also for enhancing the bond between Ghanaians abroad and their homeland.
It is an opportunity for our diaspora communities to invest in their own future and the future of Ghana.”
Outlining some of the key strategies for effective navigation of the property market, Daasebre Ewusi VII pointed out that it was always necessary to deal with trusted intermediaries and utilise the services of reputable real estate agents and legal professionals to ensure transparency and safety of investments.
He also used the opportunity to thank the organisers of the expo and expressed the hope that the leadership of the new administration will work to reset Ghana’s economy and create a favourable environment for global businesses to invest in the country.
