20th Intermodal African Conference opens in Accra
The 20th Intermodal African Conference which is to discuss new trends within the global maritime and trade sector has opened in Accra with about 200 delegates from Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia in attendance.
A commercial opportunity for some 50 exhibitors and sponsors in line with the conference is to enable delegates’ network directly with industry players, manufacturers and traders of port facility equipment, financial institutions committing funds to developments among others.

The conference is also providing an opportunity for Ghana and the Meridian Port Services (MPS) to market its newly developed expanded terminal three (T3) at the Tema Port of which the phase one is expected to become operational in 2019.
The Managing Director of Transport Events, Mr Roy J. Doyle, told Graphic Online on the sidelines of the event that globalisation is driving the core of business across the globe, and thus require that businesses create strategic business plans that would create opportunities for all.
Among speakers at the conference is the Minister of Transport, Mr Kweku Ofori-Asiamah.
