Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Awards set for July 8

The Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Awards (GNAA) which is aimed at recognizing the efforts of men and women who are blazing the trail in their respective field of endeavour is scheduled for July 8 at the British Council in Accra.

 The theme of this year's event is ‘Rewarding Hard Work and Celebrating Positive Effort Towards Building a Prosperous Society’.

According to organisers of the awards, Nigerians and Ghanaians who are making positive strides in their communities would be honoured.

Awards will be given out on the day to different individuals in categories such as Business, Education, Youth and Student Advocacy, Good Governance, Sports and Politics.

The coordinator of the event, Comrade Barry Ndu Nwaihim, in an interview assured that everything has been put in place to ensure a successful event.

He urged companies and individuals to always support initiatives which would help promote unity, excellence, commitment and hard work.
