The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) has officially struck 323 entities off the Register of Companies, declaring them dissolved in a sweeping administrative action published in Volume 49 of the Companies Bulletin.
The notice, dated Thursday, October 15, 2026, and signed by the Registrar of Companies, Maame Samma Peprah (Mrs), states that the striking off was executed pursuant to Section 289(5) of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992).
The bulletin serves as formal notice to the public, declaring that the listed entities stand dissolved.
The list of affected entities is broad and diverse, spanning various sectors of the economy and ranging from limited liability companies and associations to trading enterprises and representative offices.
Notable names on the list include prominent historical entities such as Ghana Breweries Limited, Ashanti Cement Limited, Gold Coast Cigar Ltd, and Hoechst Ghana Limited.
Other affected entities include Adu Trading Limited, Aluminium Manufacturing Limited, Cambridge Bookshop Limited, African Enterprise Limited, and Ghana Poultry Ltd. Additionally, associations and non-profit bodies such as the Livestock Association, the Moshi Youth Association, and the Taiwan-Ghana Private Trade & Investment LBG were also struck off the register.
