Stephen Blewett: New MTN Ghana CEO starts work today
MTN Ghana has officially announced that Stephen Blewett has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Scancom Ltd (MTN Ghana) effective April 1, 2024.
This transition follows the departure of Selorm Adadevoh, who has moved to MTN Group as the Chief Commercial Officer after serving as CEO of MTN Ghana for nearly 6 years.

Before assuming his role as CEO for MTN Ghana, Stephen Blewett served as the MTN Group Operations Executive for Markets, overseeing eight countries in West and Central Africa.
He also held positions as a Non-Executive Director for various MTN subsidiaries including Liberia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Benin, and Congo. His telecoms industry experience includes being the Group Chief Operations Officer for Digicel in Jamaica and holding the position of Chief Executive Officer for MTN in Benin and Cameroon.
With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, Stephen Blewett brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to MTN Ghana. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce with a focus on Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and Marketing from the University of KwaZulu, Natal.
