Tecno wins most popular mobile phone brand of the year

Dual sim smartphone manufacturer, Tecno, has been recognised the Most Popular Phone Brand of the Year at the 6th Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards (GITTA). 

Tecno beat off competition from very keen players in the industry to win the all-important accolade.

Commenting on the awards, Maxwell Techie, Managing Director at Tecno Ghana, expressed gratitude for the awards and promised that the award will motivate the company to continue to innovate and excel.

“This award is a testament of how far we have come in providing low budget smart phones for Ghanaians. Over the past years, we have committed ourselves to being a leader in the market and this accolade truly demonstrates the gains we have made. We will continue to innovate and be customer centered as we take over the market.

Present at the Awards Night was the Honourable Deputy Minister of Communications Hon. Ato Sarpong and other dignitaries representing other African countries.
