Total calls for entries into its ‘Startupper challenge’

The management of Total Ghana has called for more entries and registration for its "Startupper challenge” which is slated to end on January 31, 2016.

The challenge which is an entrepreneurship programme seeks to motivate and support young entrepreneurs with the view to promoting economic development in the country.

It would identify and reward the best projects in enterprise creation or development less than two years old across the country.

 

This initiative is in 34 other African countries which seeks to simultaneously motivate and support young entrepreneurs.

The application process which started in November, 2015 is directly available on the Total website.

A jury of professionals will pre-select up to 10 of the best projects in Ghana based on the following criteria: how innovative, original, and daring the project is, its development potential and its capacity to improve the living conditions of the population.

The list of finalists will be published on the website of the contest during the month of February, 2016.

After candidates’ defence, the jury will select the best three projects and the results will be announced during the awards ceremony.

The overall winner will be granted the “Startupper” with financial support and mentorship from Total Ghana.
