Nero X for Foklex Media awards

He is a new kid on the block but singer, Nero X, has demonstrated that hard work and determination really pays off.

His latest single Osey which is receiving massive airplay has already won him the admiration of many music lovers and come Saturday, he will have another opportunity to demonstrate his prowess to his fans.

Scheduled to perform at the fourth edition of the Foklex Media and Personality Awards in Kumasi, Nero X who is also in contention for the VGMA Unsung Award, has promised to give off his best.

The event being organised by Foklex Media Production, comes off at the Golden Tulip Kumasi and will also witness performances from gospel singer, Tina Asante and highlife musician, Ewurasi.

The resident jazz band of the hotel  would also serenade patrons with renditions of some popular jazz tunes.

In an interview with Showbiz,  Mr Frank Akwasi Owusu, Chief Executive officer of Foklex Media Production, said the scheme aims at rewarding radio personalities in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions.

“Our aim is to encourage radio personalities in these two regions to give off their best and we are looking forward to an amazing show.”

“ In addition to awarding deserving radio personalities, the  ceremony will also see the honouring of other personalities whose works have contributed to the growth of the radio industry and the development of the country as a whole.

He said personalities who will be awarded this year include Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Minority Leader of Parliament, Dr Kwame Kyei, CEO of Unity Group of Companies and Mr. Aaron Issah Anafure, Managing Director of SIC Life.
