Tours to promote the album has already taken him to the Upper East and Central regions. After what he describes as a ‘soft launch’ at Dadi’s Bar in Koforidua on Christmas day, a bigger bash to introduce the album to music fans in the Eastern Region has been scheduled for February 14 at the same venue.

Since becoming a professional singer, Ohene has spent time with several bands including the Magnificent 2 of the Second Battalion of Infantry, Sappers, Fish Band, Megastar, Western Diamonds and the Oguaaman band.

As a singer, Ohene shows influences by veterans like Pat Thomas, Paapa Yankson and Kojo Antwi but he has over the years, honed his own charming style.

“I listen to a lot of good singers from here and elsewhere but now, I sing like Ohene,” he told The Mirror.

A good singer by all accounts, Ohene also wrote all the songs on the Bra album and is looking forward to an enjoyable time on the live music circuit this year.
