Rulers on 'Esi Attah'

It’s always been tough for new entrants in the music industry to get their breakthrough but  music group, Rulers, are looking forward to making it big with their new single titled, Esi Attah.

The song features highlife singer, Kofi B as the duo popularly known for their hiplife tunes go back to their roots with this highlife piece.

Explaining the concept of the track, the young artistes said it was  a true life story about a friend who lost a virtuous lady because of his bad attitude. 

In the song, they sing about how this young man lost the opportunity to marry a “good lady” who endured all the maltreatment from the guy. But after she had had enough, she walked off, much to the disappointment of the guy . He lost an asset for a life partner.

In a bid to win back her heart and trust, the friend pleads with the lady called Esi Attah to rescind her decision and come back to him since he had changed from his old ways but Esi Attah was gone for good.

A mid tempo song, Esi Attah advises young men to appreciate  good ladies and keep them since they are “scarce in this era of technology women”.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz last week, Rulers said, "The song advises every man to appreciate his woman because respect is key in sustaining every relationship,” he stated.

Signed under the record label, Rulers Empire Forever, the duo Rulers is made up of Star Boy (Nii Akwei Bonsu) and Rulers Saint One (Reuben Alhassan Mahama). They also have songs such as Your body featuring S.K Original and Party sem  with Akatakyie and Lazy Dazy to their repertoire of songs.

They are working in the studios to release their album by the end of the year which will have songs such as Akweley, Ati gya, Pretty girl featuring Shatta Wale and Wadie bi. Some of the songs on the album are already being played on radio stations in the country.
