S3fa calls for good times with 'Memories'

IT can really be depressing when you are in love yet your expectations are not met and you have to nurse a heartbreak.

Again, nothing beats that emptiness one feels when you miss your partner or loved one but can’t be with them because they live far away, let’s say in another country.

Well, these are some of the issues Black Avenue signee, S3fa addresses in her latest song, Memories which narrates how people always rely on the memories they share with their partners.

“We should not take for granted the life we live each day with the people we love. Let us not take them for granted at all because humans have many flaws but our concentration should not dwell on them.

"There are so many memories to take pride in including the smiles, chit-chats, gifts and fun shared among others.

"The song does not only touch on intimate relationships, it also goes out to those who have lost dear ones to the icy cold hands of death.

“There are people who have lost loved ones and such periods are also trying times. Just as we have good times with our loved ones, we must not forget the departed ones too and that is why I’m using this song to encourage people to keep the memories alive.

Though Memories, produced by DJ Breezy is a slow rhythm, it is suitable for listeners to try some moves on the dancefloor if they wish.

“This is a deep song from me and so I wanted a rhythm that could create the right ambience for deep thinking,” she said.
