Stephen Ellery in sports music concert
It was an exciting moment for orchestral music lovers when world-acclaimed British conductor, Stephen Ellery led the National Symphony Orchestra last year in an exciting performance of themes from famous films.

The conductor will be back in Accra on Saturday, April 12 for a special treat of orchestral music with theme songs from sports at the National Theatre.
The Public Relations manager of Souad Business Consult, Russel Coombs, organisers of the event said that the concert has been put together to whip up interest in the National Symphony Orchestra as well as satisfy the desires of music lovers who rarely have the opportunity to enjoy such classics.
“The concert will be in two parts. The first part will deal with Olympics, boxing, track and field while the second part focuses on football which will bring out the excitement on the night,” Russel said.
Stephen Ellery is currently conductor of the Locrian Ensemble, London and associate conductor of the English Concert Orchestra.
In addition to his many talents as a conductor, Stephen is also an accomplished saxophonist.
