Even though the song will officially to be out on all digital platforms today, Abi Kesse, whose real name is Abigail Ofori, has been whetting the appetite of her followers on social media with bits and bobs of the video of Oguama.
Oguama is a live recording and it has Abi Kesse singing about the precious blood of Jesus saving her from the shackles of sin and its repercussions.
For her, there’s no better season to promote the message of salvation than in a time when people of Christian faith are marking the significant death of a saviour.
She tells Graphic Showbiz that the church must be deliberate about Easter celebrations since it forms the core identity of their faith.
As such, she intends to use Oguama to intensify the message of salvation and she is very hopeful listeners will connect to it.
“Easter is a time of immense joy and hope, as Christians celebrate the victory of light over darkness, life over death, and the triumph of God's love for humanity.

“This is what I’m trumpeting on Oguama because I want the world to know that a special lamb was slain for the salvation of mankind,” she stated.
A member of Grace Mountain Church in Accra, Abi Kesse started singing at the age of eight.
However, after serving the church for many years, the mother of two said she was inspired to take on a bigger platform, leading to the release of her debut song, "Hallelujah” in August 2023.
