Ayisoba plays at Alliance Francaise
King Ayisoba, the unique award-winning musician from Bongo Soe in the Upper East Region, will be the main attraction at the next edition of the La Paillote Takpekpe event at the Alliance Francaise in Accra on Wednesday, April 17.
It’s being organized by the ACCRA (dot) ALT outfit as a prelude to the next Chale Wote Street Art Festival expected to take place at James Town in Accra in early September.

Ayisoba caught nationwide attention in 2006 when he released the Modern Ghanaians album that contained the famous I Want To See My Father song.
Though the album also contained contemporary stuff that featured artistes like Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Sidney, Kweku T and Kontihene, it was the uniquely traditional I Want To See My
Father that stood out and won Ayisoba the Most Popular Song of the Year honour at the 2007 Ghana Music Awards.
Deejays and expert bikers will also perform at the Alliance Francaise programme on Wednesday.
ACCRA (dot) ALT officials say DJ Mimmo from Italy, DJ KV3 from Ashesi University, Bbrave from Akwaaba Music and Katie Ortiuz from the United States will be in attendance.a
