D Black records new album in Johannesburg

Hippop artiste, D Black, is currently in Johannesburg, South Africa, to record some songs for his new album.

According to his management, Black Muzik Avenuet, the Vera singer would record with some known South African artistes such as Mi Casa, Cassper Nyovest popular for  hit song, Guesheshe, and singer, Donald who has numerous RNB / house hit records off his platinum selling album, Train of Love. 

One of the exponents of HipHop music in Ghana, D Black since his entry on the music scene has made a name for himself with popular songs like Somebody, My Kinda Girl, Change Your Life and Personal Person.

The yet to be titled album from D Black will be his third studio album. His previous albums were Music, Love & Life(2011) and Revelation(2012). His song, My Kinda Girl, from the Revelation album which featured Sarkodie  earned a BET nomination in 2012. It however won the Best West African Video award at the Channel O Music Awards later the same year

Currently, D Black’s latest,  Personal Person, featuring Castro is already making waves in the country and beyond as it took the number one spot at the Capital Xtra’s Afrobeats Charts in the U.K in its first week of entry.
