The 22-year-old student of Fashion Design and Textiles outstripped, outshone and beat her eight contenders to annex the coveted crown and bragging rights as 2016 Face of Ho Poly.  As the winner, Diidi went home with a cash GH¢1000.00  and a one year modelling contract.

The first runner-up position went to Bridget Ayensu, a 21-year-old Fashion Design and Modelling student, and the second runner-up was grabbed by Georgina Amediku, a 23-year-old student of Fashion Design and Textiles. They received cash prizes of GH¢800.00 and GH¢500.00 respectively.

"I felt great when my name was mentioned as the winner. I'm a shy person but I really put in a lot to win the pageant," an elated Priscilla told this reporter.

"I'll be embarking on a sanitation project with the two runners-up. I'll also do a project on women empowerment," she added.

Prior to the coronation on the night, there was a riveting musical performance by the newly crowned Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, EL. He rocked the mammoth crowd, predominantly Ho Polytechnic students and left them excited.

Up and coming artistes in the Volta Region like Section 9, Qwame Decash, Danzaki, Elorm, MzVee and others also used the platform to promote their musical works.
