Dr Cann re-emerges at Hitz FM
Dr. Cann, regular host of Happy FM’s entertainment show, Showbiz Xtra, is no more with the station. The presenter who has worked with the radio station for nine years is now with Hitz FM where he will be starting a new entertainment show called This Morning Entertainment.

Dr Cann would not give a reason for his move beyond a terse “I’m moving on”.
Pushed further, he told Showbiz: “I was in secondary school but now I am in a tertiary institution. There comes a point in a man’s life where some hard decisions have to be taken for a better future and that is what I just did” Dr. Cann said.
According to Dr. Cann, real name Francis Cann, he was grateful to Happy FM for building his career and making him who he is today.
“Honestly, I must say that I achieved a lot working with Happy FM but I am more excited to work with the Multimedia Broadcasting Company-owned, Hitz FM”.
Before leaving Happy FM, Dr. Cann who had worked with Sunrise FM in Koforidua, GBC Radio in Accra, Radio Winbay in Cape Coast was also the morning show host on Happy FM.
Talking about his new found job, Dr Cann said his entertainment programme on Hitz FM every Saturday from 7 am to 10 am will not be different from what he did at Happy FM.
“Normally presenters who move from one radio station to another do not do too well but I know I can survive. I have the training and I know I can work at any radio station I find myself”.

“With the training I had from the four different radio stations, there is no radio station I cannot work at. I can DJ, do good interviews and handle any programme that comes my way” he said.
