Emelia Arthur to launch album
Gospel singer, Emelia Arthur, will launch her maiden album, Kyere Me Kwan, on Saturday, November 29, at the Apostolic Church Ghana, near Lapaz Community Clinic in Accra.
Produced by Adfirst Consult and engineered by Shadrach Yawson, the Kyere Me Kwan album features prominent gospel acts, OJ and Esther Smith.
Alongside the album launch, the young songstress will also outdoor her ‘Buy Made In Ghana’ campaign at the 2.00pm event. Slogan for the campaign is ‘Consume What We Produce, Produce What We Consume.’
“The recent issue over whether we should have imported chairs from China for our Parliament instead of getting furniture makers here to produce more solid ones is just an example of how we weigh our competencies against others,” Ms Arthur says.
“The idea of importing from China should not even have crossed anybody’s mind in the first place. As a singer, I have the opportunity to reach a lot of people and that’s why I’m keen about better patronage of made-in-Ghana products. “
OJ and Esther Smith are among the special guests invited to the November 29 programme.
