Ghanaian songstress Mzbel has hit back at her critics raising concerns about her decision to post a video bathing her daughter on social media.

The mother of two who is possibly not happy with the negative feedback has justified her actions, asserting that she did not violate any laws but was honouring the longstanding tradition of mothers bonding with their children.

Her defense comes on the heels of an ongoing debate on the appropriateness of sharing what critics think should be private moments between a mother and daughter on social media.

In response to the criticism, Mzbel took to her social media pages to write: "So I found out that some of you are worried and even upset with the post I made yesterday struggling to bathe my baby... I appreciate your concern, but rest assured, her private part didn't show, and I did not break any law.
"What you saw is her folded thigh. As you can see, mothers bathing babies and sharing on social media is nothing new."

Mzbel stressed that she had taken measures to ensure her daughter's privacy remained intact in the video.

She also denied any wrongdoing, pointing out that she had not exposed her daughter's private parts, and the video adhered to social media guidelines.

Mzbel highlighted the tradition of mothers sharing videos of bathing their children online, suggesting that this practice was nothing out of the ordinary.
