If you want to live long, marry multiple women- Prophet Kumchacha to men
In a surprising view, Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha, has said that it is acceptable for men to have multiple wives since it is not a sin.
During an appearance on UTV's United Showbiz programme on September 14, 2024, Prophet Kumchacha presented an unconventional perspective on polygamy against his Christian beliefs and doctrines, asserting that it lacks explicit biblical backing.

He noted that Paul's recommendation of monogamy is guidance rather than a divine directive, allowing individuals to make their own choices regarding marriage.
He also claimed that having multiple wives can increase men's lifespan due to the challenges of single-partner relationships.
“Marriage involves many issues, so I always encourage men to marry multiple women if they want to live long. At least two or three women. If God blesses me to be wealthy like Kwame Despite or Ofori Sarpong, I will do so.
“I am a prophet, but I challenge any pastor to quote a single verse from Genesis to Revelation that says marrying multiple women will send you to hell. It is not in the Bible.
“In 1 Timothy, Paul was advising about marriage, but I can choose to accept it or not. The same Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:34 and onwards that women should not be allowed to preach in church, but today, that is not the practice in most churches,” he stated.
In a recent interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, the veteran Kumawood actor, Clement Bonney popularly known as Mr Beautiful weighed in on the contentious issue of polygamy, offering a surprising endorsement. (Related article:
