Irene Logan returns with The Mask concert

She recently launched her Saturday Night Live with Irene Logan, a monthly live band performance for her fans at the +233, and it seems sultry singer, Irene Logan, is poised to maintain that “status” with her upcoming The Mask concert.

Scheduled for the Soho Bar and Restaurant at the Marina Mall on Saturday, September 5, the concert, which is being organised by 3FS Production is expected to feature other artistes such as Becca, Wiyaala, Stephanie Benson, Dark Surburb, Belce and eSHUN.

Speaking with Showbiz on Monday, Irene, known for songs such as Hit It Up and Dance, said the 8:00 pm concert will be the right opportunity to “reconnect with her fans”.

She said the artistes, who will be backed by the Patch Bay band on the night , were selected based on their versatility and public appeal over the years.

“This is an annual concert which seeks to promote Ghanaian music and we hope to use The Mask platform to sell music from Ghana to Africa and the world at large. I am rehearsing with my friends to give the lovely patrons the best out of us and it is going to be a night of good music with raw talent,” she said.

Irene Logan hit the limelight when she participated in the maiden edition of Stars of the Future organised by Charterhouse where she came first.

But before that, she had a stint with music as a member of the youth music group, S-Touch, which had Salimi Akill, Richie, Ferguson and Selassie Hanson as its members.
