It’s a family day out

Several families will have the opportunity to have a good time at the annual Citi FM Family Day when the event comes off at the Burma Camp Leisure Centre on Monday, May 25.

The event, which climaxes the Citi FM Family Month, is expected to provide the platform for families to spend time together and to socialise as well.

Activities lined up to make the event an interesting one include treasure hunt, food fair, karaoke, swimming, video games, indoor games and musical chairs. 

There will be bouncy castles, face painting and other exciting games to entertain children and to create a good feeling for all patrons.

Apart from these activities, there will be music performances by hiplife artiste, Kontihene, to liven up the place and the moods of patrons. Backed by the Executive Band, the Esi rapper is expected to treat patrons to some of his popular songs such as Akatasia, Migizigi, Asesa and latest, Juju.

According to the organisers, the event would provide an opportunity for families to bond, have fun and spend precious time together.

One interesting aspect of the event, the organisers say, will be a big birthday party to be held in honour of all those who celebrate their birthday in the month of May dubbed, May Borns Jamboree.
