It was a Decemba 2 rememba

Undoutedly, Castro and Joey B scored the highest points at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba held at the Accra International Conference Centre on December 24.

Joey B got everyone on their feet throughout the time he was on stage and so did Castro who was aptly the last act on the night. They both communicated well with the excited audience and made sure that every minute they spent on stage was well appreciated.

Aside the above mentioned two, Guru also did quite well. He did some of his popular songs including Boys Abre which got a section of the crowd singing along and dancing.

Tiffany came on stage with a large number of dancers including kids and they were a delight to watch as could be deduced from the cheers from the crowd.

One would have thought that children their age should have been in bed at that time of the night but it looks like their brilliant performance made everyone forgive them for staying up that late.

It was good to see Tic Tac after all this while and he didn’t do badly except that he left too quickly at a time the audience was warming up to him.

Not a bad show from him though.

One person who everyone fell in love with on the night was Bash, a Nigerian comedian. He got ribs splitting on the two occasions he came on stage. From Nigerian police and Ghanaian ladies, he had something to say about everyone and he got the audience laughing till they could laugh no more.

Other acts on the night were Manifest, Footprint, Bisa Kdei, Gasmilla, Keche, Kaakie and EL.

The organisers did well by inter-lacing the show with jokes on the giant screens mounted at the auditorium. It was refreshing and very exciting as joke after joke sent everyone laughing their hearts out.

Kudos to Citi FM for a well organised show though I must admit that some of the previous editions have been more exciting.
