It’s Odo Different with Ama Nova

Afobeats singer, Ama Nova has always told her story of how a close friend betrayed her by snatching her partner pushed her into commercial music.

However, with music, she eventually healed her broken heart, her love life got better and in January 2024, got married to colleague musician, Ded Buddy.

To tell her current love story and perhaps, the happy place she is at the moment, Ama Nove has joined forces with Fameye on a new song, Odo Different.

Released on Friday, January 10, Odo Different produced by Tombeats takes listeners on the beautiful journey of the duo confessing their love for each other.

With very relatable words, Ama sings about how she’s is ever ready to protect what she shares with her partner and not give room for “enemies” to come between them.

Over the years, Fameye has warmed the hearts of music audiences particularly for his delivery and on the Odo Different, he was in his elements.

Singing the praises of his love interest, the Nothing I Get singer showered sweet words on his woman, singing about how she makes him feel a “different kind of love”.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Ama Nova said Odo Different is a beautiful Highlife song to encourage listeners not give up on love since there are always good times ahead.

“Odo Different is a soulful reminder that love is worth holding on to, as better days are always ahead.

“It’s a beautiful Highlife song featuring Fameye. It’s the very first single for the year and it means a lot to me because it’s my first time featuring a Ghanaian artiste,” she said.

Ama Nova made her debut appearance with Decisions produced by Tombeatz in 2019. Other songs she is known for are Akroma, 7 Miles, Mutual Feelings, Meara, Dedeede and Calibre.

The artiste, whose real name is Nana Ama Sackey won Female Artiste of the Year at 2022 Central Music Awards (CMA) and was part of a list of performers at last year’s Abankese Festival which took place in Capecoast in December.
