LACK of support seems to be a slogan that many up and coming artistes chant when they announce their presence on the music scene but the story seems different for Afrobeats and R&B singer, Chayuta.

Although the situation is believed to have on a large extent, "killed" many young talents even before they blossom, Chayuta is full of gratitude for the immense support she has been enjoying since her entry on the music scene about a year ago.

Telling her good story to Graphic Showbiz after the launch of a new single, ‘Tonight’ at Big Leagues, Osu, Accra, Chayuta said the love has been deep, particularly with how her colleagues always share her works without being prompted.

"I have a couple of singles out there and my senior colleague musicians willingly pushed them on their social media platforms. I've also had interviews from the media and I am so grateful for the support so far.

“I guess I am lucky because most of the young artistes I know complain about lack of support but my story has been different,” she said.

On ‘Tonight’ produced by DJ Jabs from South Africa and mixed and mastered by Webbie from Ghana, Chayuta talks about how she is always happy to party with friends.

The fast tempo song is a good attempt by Chayuta who intends to push her career to the greatest of heights after signing on to a new label, Nayasa Records.

She told Graphic Showbiz she is very excited a record label has spotted and willing to invest in her career and help bring to reality her ambitions.
