KSM celebrates b’day with cancer kids

He turned 60 on Monday, December 5 and as part of his birthday celebration, the King of Primetime, Kwaku Sintim-Misa, popular known as KSM spent some time with the children at the cancer unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

KSM who is an ambassador for childhood cancer in Ghana visited the unit in Korle Bu. It was a very exciting day for all the children to have him spend time with them.

The Saga of A returnee actor treated the children and their parents to food and drinks. He also gave the children toys and colouring books to help them relax while going through their treatment.

It was also a day of great laughter and merry-making as Undisputed King of Comedy accompanied by fellow Ghanaian comedians such as Khemikal, OB, James Brown and Nino made the kids, their parents and medical staffs on duty double up with laughter.

Speaking with Showbiz, KSM said

“I felt the need to do something different this year, something totally different from the usual inviting friends over to drink and party.

“ Then it struck me that as an ambassador for children living with cancer, spending some time with them would not be a bad idea at all and i am glad I did’, the Afia Siriboe actor added.

On how spending time with the kids made him feel, KSM he was overwhelmed by the love and happiness the children and their parents expressed towards him. “It is definitely something I would want to do over and over again, it felt very refreshing I must say”, he said.

And before he took leave of them, the women and members of staff on duty sang the happy birthday song for him.
