Neighbours found his body in a pool of his own blood Thursday morning apparently from a gunshot wound, according to Abeiku Santana, a close pal.

Abeiku told Citi FM that neighbours reportedly heard some struggling at about 12 midnight in his house at the Mannet Cottage where he lived alone, and at daybreak when they saw no sign of him, they broke into the house only to find him dead in his bedroom.

“It appears there was a struggle before they shot him,” Abeiku recounted before breaking down sobbing.

His house had recently been burgled while he had traveled, and the robbers took away his pump action gun and a television set, according to Abeiku.

The police and others in the showbiz fraternity, including musician A-Plus and parliamentarian Ursula Owusu were in the house to see things for themselves as at the time he spoke with the Adabraka-based radio.

Fennec Okyere, a former student of O'Reilly Secondary School in Accra, was born on 24 August 1983, and until his death, was Operations and Marketing Manager of Creta Digital, according to his Facebook profile.
