Netizens “shade” Sarkodie as Shatta Wale celebrates daughter’s 13th birthday
Yesterday, July 1 was dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale’s first daughter, Cherissa’s 13th birthday and the proud father used the opportunity to celebrate his first seed on social media.
The controversial musician expressed surprise at how quickly his daughter was growing and promised to gift her a Range Rover on her 16th birthday.

But while the “Taking Over” artiste was perhaps taking lots of pride in the moment, some social media commentators used the opportunity to shade rapper Sarkodie for not taking such a bold step 13 years ago following revelations by actress Yvonne Nelson that they had an abortion in 2010.
According to Humble Bernice Asafo Adjei, “ Birthday wishes mu shades 🤣🤣🤣 Happy birthday baby girl”
Clavin Nelson wrote: Something in me said “Tell her to keep it “ ….. whiles the other one going about destroying fetus”.
Calvin Assan commended Shatta Wale for keeping the pregnancy. He said, “You did a good job by telling her to keep it. While’s Tema emminem was destroying fetus. Anyway Happy Birthday to you King 👑 daughter
Gifty Acolatse had this to say, “Shatta is a true definition of "Don't judge a book by its cover" 💯😄congratulations🎊 we can now fish out the "real men from the boys"👌_ Happy birthday Princess we love you 🎁🛍️🥰❤️”

In the words of Alex Ahenkorah, “Happy birthday and many more.In Shatta wale (shatta movement) we don't do Abortion 👌😊 God bless you shatta and her mum”
With all the huge interest and unending conversations about Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson having an abortion for Sarkodie in 2010, Shatta Wale is being praises for doing otherwise particularly at a time when he claimed he wasn’t financially sound.
“I Remember when your mother said she was pregnant 😂🙏
I was Damn broke ✌️
But something in me said “Tell her to keep it”
