Nhyira Marfo of Team Eternity is dead

The music industry has been dealt a devastating blow with the sudden passing of Nhyira Marfo Okyere, a talented member of the renowned gospel music group, Team Eternity.

This comes just a year after the group lost another vibrant member, Kevin Kwesi Adiamah.

Nhyira's passing has sent shockwaves through the industry, with fans, colleagues and friends expressing their condolences and tributes on social media.

The cause of her death is not yet known, but the group confirmed her passing in a statement released on August 7, 2024.

Part of the statement reads: "With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our friend and sister, Nhyira Marfo Okyere. We are grief-stricken and heartbroken, but we turn to the Lord for comfort. We trust in His promise to be with us always and take refuge in His love. We ask that you keep Nhyira's family and Team Eternity Ghana in your prayers. We are grateful for your continued love and support."

Nhyira was an integral part of Team Eternity, known for her powerful vocals and  enthusiasm.
