Paradise resort hosts stars this Easter
The plush paradise resort located at Nsutam, near the Bonsu Junction, will from Thursday, April 2 to Monday April 6, host some of Ghana’s best musicians.
The event kicks off with a special Akwaaba night featuring Gifty Osei, Superintendent Kofi Sarpong, Joyce Blessing, Rose Adjei and Kwaw Kese.
Then on Good Friday, highlife legend, Abrantie Amakye Dede, and his band would serenade music lovers with good music at the Easter highlife night.
Performing songs like ‘Odo Handkerchief, Sokoo Na Nmaa Pe, Nsuo Amuna and Odo Mfoni, the ‘Serious Man,’ Amakye Dede, and his band would exhibit what they know how to do best.
The activities would be climaxed with a picnic where patrons would be treated to good food and music from the resident DJ.
Organisers of the events, Media Excel, told The Mirror that the idea was to encourage sharing and also to give residents living in and around the facility good entertainment.
‘Every year, there is huge publicity on Easter in Kwahu, and it seems a lot of people assume that Kwahu is the only fun place to be during Easter. This year we are giving music lovers the opportunity to experience something different at a different location,’ the CEO of Media Excel, Ernest Ennin, explained.
