Patience Nyarko angrily walks out of interview over Joe Mettle question
WHEN it comes to Gospel musician Joe Mettle, it appears his colleague Patience Nyarko has no chill, none at all.
After stirring controversy over the weekend with her comments about Joe Mettle being overhyped and not able to write his own songs, Patience is back in the news again.
This time, she has angrily walked out of an interview after being asked about Joe Mettle's songwriting abilities.
In a video that aired on Tuesday, May 19, Patience Nyarko was being interviewed by Joy News' Becky who asked whether she knew Joe Mettle's song Bo Noo Ni and Patience said yes.
The presenter then asked whether the song was a Methodist or Pentecostal song since the singer had said her colleague only sampled Methodist and Pentecost songs.
In reply, Patience Nyarko asked whether that was the reason why the presenter had said earlier that Joe Mettle had written over 40 songs. Becky said it was a research done by the online portal Ghanaweekend.com to which the Obi Nyanime artiste said they could add 60 to the list to make 100.
Patience Nyarko then said "Don't push me" and got up and walked away.
This may not help Patience's case as she has been widely condemned for her comments which she made on Onua FM.
While some people have said she is still unhappy about losing the Gospel Song of the Year to Joe Mettle at the 2018 VGMA, others say she is jealous of the heights the Nhyira singer is reaching.
