Reveal the artiste - Lilwin dares fetish priest

Popular Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah known in showbiz circles as  Lilwin has dared a Techiman-based fetish priest, Nana Mosi Bansere, to reveal the name of an artiste he intends to strike down or shut up. 

Nana Mosi Bansere has threatened to invoke the wrath of his gods on a ‘big’ musician in the country if he does not apologise to a fast rising musician in the Brong Ahafo Region, Kooko, for trying to ruin his career.

The fetish priest claims that artiste came to him to destroy Kooko because his career seemed to be on the rise and he (artiste) was feeling threatened.

He would not mention the name of the artiste except to say that he has featured on a track with Kooko and warned that it would be in his own interest to act immediately.

Since he joined the music industry, Kooko has worked with the likes of Lilwin, Guru, Yaa Pono and Joe Frazier on his songs.

However, in an interview with Showbiz, Lilwin said Nana Mosi is bluffing and is only looking for attention along with Kooko.

“If he thinks he is that powerful he should just mention the name of the artiste or better still deal with the artiste and stop seeking attention,” Lilwin said.

He continued that Nana Mosi Bansere is acting like a prophet who has announced that someone is going to die in Ghana but does not mention the name of the person.

“I believe in action not mere talk, the fetish preist better concentrate on his shrine business and stop interfering in other people’s business,” he stated.

Kooko, whose real name is Nana Gyabaah, also spoke to Showbiz and insisted he was not out to seek fame through this. According to him, he met Nana Mosi Bansere in December last year when he performed at a Christmas bash in Techiman.

He said the fetish priest invited him to his shrine where he revealed some happenings in his life that only he knew and he was shocked that he believed him.

Kooko said he had been experiencing some unusual migraines which he had sought medical advice for but had found no relief.  

Again, anytime he had dreams about performing and executing a particular dance move “I would wake up the next morning and I cannot raise my left leg.

"Sometimes, I have to lie in bed for an hour or two before I can get up and walk,” he said.

Kooko further stated that although he believes in God, he also believes that God works in mysterious ways and can use anybody to unravel a hidden agenda against him.

He indicated that since he came into contact with Nana Bansere, he had seen great improvement in his health.
