Voters must make wise choices, 24 hour 'disco' not feasible- Prince David Osei
Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei is urging voters to make wise decisions in the upcoming elections, specifically calling out the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) suggested proposal to allow nightclubs to operate for 24 hours under its “24 hour” economy policy.

David Osei, a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), questioned the feasibility of this idea, pointing out that nightclubs are meant to operate at night, not 24/7.
In a post shared via his X handle yesterday, Prince David Osei argued that such a move isn’t feasible.
According to him, nightclubs and hook-ups (sex workers) are traditionally meant to operate at night.
Prince David Osei praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his remarkable efforts in digitalizing various sectors in Ghana, and urged fellow Ghanaians to make informed decisions in the upcoming elections.
“I heard someone talking about licensing night clubs (discotek) and hook ups to operate 24/7, which doesn't seem feasible as night clubs are supposed to operate at night. On another note, our Vice President Dr Bawumia has been making a positive impact on Ghanaians through digitalization. It's important to make wise choices, especially when it comes to voting. Let's vote for progress,” he shared.
Former President John Mahama generated intense debate during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto launch in Winneba, promising to allow the hospitality industry - including restaurants, discotheques, nightclubs, and hotels - to operate 24/7 if re-elected.
Many Ghanaians have questioned the practicality of this proposal, with some expressing concerns about its potential impact on the country.
