TV Africa shines at Television Awards
It was a proud moment for the management and staff of TV Africa recently when the station grabbed six awards at the maiden edition of the Ghana Television Awards.

Organised by Showtyme Television in two categories: Industry Awards and Prime Time Awards, TV Africa won two and four awards in the respective categories.
Outstanding Television Costume Design - Amazing Child - and Outstanding Television Documentary- Cocoa Plunders were TV Africa’s honours in the Industry Awards section.
In the Prime Time category, TV Africa went away with Outstanding Television News Presentation - Evening News; Outstanding Individual Performance (TV Children’s Show) – Akosua Ameyaw in Amazing Child; Outstanding Television Children’s Show - Amazing Child and Outstanding Television Talk Show - Obaa Mo.
Nii Oblitey Commey, Head of Production at TV Africa told Showbiz the awards reflected the station’s constant determination to feed its viewers with good quality productions.
“We were happy that our overall good work was being noticed and appreciated. We feel inspired to continue bringing out more excellent stuff,” the TV Africa man said.
