I draw the attention of the management of GCB Bank to the ATM located on the Graphic Road at Adabraka in Accra, which has not been functioning for several months now.
It is not clear if GCB has decided to permanently decommission it since it has not been working for more than three months.
That particular machine, located in between Accra Brewery and the Graphic Communication Group head offices, is helpful to those who do their business on that side of town.
The nearest alternative is the GCB branch, near the Farisco traffic light (former UT Bank branch), which has also been recently closed.
The only alternative now is the Republic House branch, opposite the Cocoa House or the other one on the Kojo Thompson Road, which has no car park for customers.
Heavy vehicular traffic congestion in that side of town makes commuting to that branch to withdraw cash inconvenient.
I, therefore, plead with the management of GCB to make their ATM on the Graphic Road functional.
