Malice aforethought on campus!

I feel deflated.  My intent to go to town on the dons at “Kumasi Legon” who have formed an identifiable political party branch on campus in Kumasi to assist the main opposition party has been squashed by the news that the group is yet to be registered as such, or conduct its operations on campus, which two conditions are vital for it to be seen as dons politicking openly on the campus of this country’s second public university.

I am not suggesting that the decision to announce their presence on campus without registering with campus authorities is not the best, and invidious, but they are probably aware of the long, uneasy relations that have existed between the various campus authorities and students politics beyond junior common room politics, which are pursued under detailed rules and regulations of the university.
