Letters: Take your studies seriously

Dear Editor, Many children are under the impression that education is an irritating hindrance to the joys of life.

However, they do not realise that many people are now unemployed and struggling to cope because did not go through basic education.

Education is the only way to build someone’s future so all students must take it seriously.

Others refuse to learn and only take part in alternative activities such as sports. This does not mean that sports activities are bad.

However, an unhealthy balance of these co-curricular activities will not help a student go far in life.
