Wa SECTECH unveils notice board

The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Wa Senior High Technical School (WA SECTECH) has handed over a new notice board to the school.

The facility, the first of its kind in the school, is worth GH¢3,800 and is the legacy of the outgoing executive of the school’s SRC, with funding from the dues of students.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Gaeten Bayel, described the innovation as impressive and laudable, pointing out that it was an example of how leadership could account for stewardship.

He said there was hope in the nation’s youth given that it took student leadership to provide such a facility for the school.

The dual-face notice board is a combination of block, and woodwork as well as textile materials, with a glass shield to protect notices on the board.
