18th GJA AWARDS underway at State Banquet Hall, Accra
A colourful stage is set for the 18th edition of the Ghana Journalists Association annual Awards under the theme "Promoting Healthy Partisanship and Fruitful Partnership in Governance : The Role of the Media" which is underway at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.

The event which is chaired by the United Nations Resident Cordinator, Madam Ruby Sandhu-Rojon, has President John Dramani Mahama as Special Guest of Honour; Her Lordship Justice Georgina Wood, the Chief Justice is Guest Speaker: and Malam Mohamed Garba, President, Federation of African Journalists is Guest of Honour.
Several awards in four different categories, including the ultimate GJA-Professor Paul Ansah Journalist of the Year, sponsored by Unilever Ghana, are up for grabs)
