Suspected 'Ebola' patient at Nyaho Clinic is dead
The expatriate patient who was transferred to the Nyaho Medical Centre with symptoms suggestive of haemorrhagic fever also known as Ebola has died, Accra based radio station, Joy FM has reported.

The patient who had been isolated with specialised attention from four staff of the hospital was said to have died Monday afternoon.
Initial tests for the suspected deadly Ebola virus undertaken by the Nugochi Memorial Research Institute, a leading biomedical research institute in Ghana were inconclusive, Graphic Online gathered.
According to the Head of Disease Surveillance at the Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sarkodie, more work is still required on the blood sample before a substantive conclusion can be determined.
The expatriate patient who was said to have previously visited Guinea and Sierra Leone - two countries severely affected by the disease - arrived in Ghana with a fever on Sunday and was admitted at the Nyaho Medical Centre in Accra.
The Ministry of Health in a statement explained that the patient was transferred to the centre by the West African Rescue Association (WARA) on July 6, 2014.
The medical centre then notified the National Disease Surveillance Unit, the National Public Health Unit and the Regional Public Health Unit after which blood samples were sent to Noguschi for confirmation.
The Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Health are expected to provide more information on the development at a press conference later today.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has been meeting with agencies under it to strategise on how to contain the deadly disease, should it break out in the country.
Earlier in the year, there were similar rumours of suspected cases of Ebola fever in the country, but Noguchi, which is a leading biomedical research institute in the country, after performing blood tests, said the cases were related to Ebola fever.
