Amidst chanting and banner-waving, the protesters marched from the Legon bridge to the Tetteh Quarshie Garden Roundabout, calling for the Mahama administration to find an immediate solution to the rolling blackouts.
Participants held placards and banners reading ‘’Dumsor must stop',' ‘’We need our lights back’,’ ‘’ Dumsor is killing our businesses’’ and ‘’How long should we wait?" Others carried torch lights, candles, and lanterns.
Over 300 police personnel were present to ensure a peaceful protest.
