Avoid fallen conductors during these rainy days – PDS cautions

The Power Distribution Service Ghana Ltd (PDS) in a press release wishes to announce to customers to be cautious and extremely careful during the raining season which comes with a massive rainstorm and stormy winds.

PDS advised the public to avoid getting close to loose or fallen electrical conductors since they could still have some power in it.

According to PDS, the rainstorm has caused falling trees and ripped roofing on their electrical conductors resulting in the major outages.

However, permanent faults on the PDS feeders may take a while to be restored by PDS engineers.
