Breweries pitch camp at Kwahu

A roll call on the Kwahu Ridge of all locally and foreign produced and known brands of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages would reveal an astonishing very large array of drinks. From beers to hard liquor to bitters to energy drinks to soft drinks, either bottled, canned or draught, revelers at the ongoing Kwahu Easter festivities have more options than they would have bargained for.

It is a very fierce competition up the ridge between all the major breweries in the country and distributers of both known, newly introduced and completely unknown drink brands, as if they have established mini factories at Kwahu.

Don’t worry if you do not have money to buy drinks. Various promotions are ongoing every minute on the streets to entice merrymakers, with most of the shorts-clad sales girls going round with free samples and free-tasting drinks which does not cause a dime.

Adventurous revelers, can therefore, have their feel of drinks and indeed get drunk for free.

Some of the wide array drinks include Guinness, Club, Star, Hunters and Ruut Extra beers, Orijin, Alomo, Agya Appiah, Joy Dadi, Ginseng bitters, Vino Rosso and other wines, Red Bull, Malta Guinness, Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite and other soft drinks.
