She stated that the first female Chief of Staff in Ghana's history is a mother who is very passionate about the welfare of pregnant women in Ghana.

“There cannot be birth without mothers and, therefore, our mother Frema Opare, a mother and a giver decided to reach out to women particularly those who have just given birth. She is also giving to pregnant women in a facility to encourage and to congratulate them,” she added.

She added that Madam Opare was the former MP of the area and in the past, she adopted the ward after a renovation of the facility'

"She has been very instrumental in the renovation and maintenance of the facility which is very dear to her heart. Since it was constructed she always pays a visit and donates periodically. She would have been here but for an important assignment at the Presidency".

She also encouraged the nurses at the ward to maintain their professionalism in carrying out their duties at the hospital.

The Acting Director of the Hospital, Dr Gloria Ansah who received the items on behalf of the hospital expressed gratitude to the Chief of Staff for the donation.
