Christian body donates to Ridge, Korle Bu hospitals
Fruitful Ministries International Incorporated, an evangelistic and teaching Christian ministry, has presented assorted medical essentials to some departments of the Ridge and the Korle Bu Teaching hospitals in Accra.

The departments are the National Cardiothoracic Centre and the Maternity Ward of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Paediatrics Ward of the Ridge Hospital.
The items include detergents, hand sanitisers, toiletries, a wheelbarrow, cleaning equipment and toys.
Support family and healthy living
Presenting the items, the Founder and President, Fruitful Ministries International Incorporated, Reverend Dr Samuel A Kisseadoo, said the presentation formed part of the 15th anniversary celebrations of the ministry.
He said as a ministry, the organisation was also interested in family life and healthy living which usually began at the hospitals, hence the need to provide them with the needed support for quality healthcare delivery.
Dr Kisseadoo expressed the hope that the items would go a long way to assist the two hospitals to deliver quality healthcare to their patients.
Support laudable
Receiving the items, the Health Services Administrator in charge of the Child Health Department of the Ridge Hospital, Ms Emma Sakyibea Ansah, said the items came at an opportune time and promised that they would be used for their intended purpose.
She urged individuals, organisations and corporate bodies to emulate the gesture of the ministry.

For his part, the Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Lawrence Sereboe, who described the items as practical items and ready to be use, urged other organisations to come to the aid of the hospital.
