Couple donates to health centre

A couple from Agona Odoben in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region and resident in Australia, Mr Hayford and Adwedaa Nkrumah, have donated a number of items worth GH¢5,500 to the Odoben Health Centre.

The items include hospital beds, mattresses, bed sheets, wheelchairs, plastic chairs and some hospital equipment. 

That was a follow-up to a similar donation made by citizens of the town resident in Japan recently.

Presenting the items on behalf of the couple, Nana Okyeremaa III, the Queen of Odoben, expressed gratitude to the donors and assured them that the equipment would be put to good use for the benefit of the people.
