COVID-19: Trans-SAS Trading and Manufacturing Company gives back to society
The Trans-SAS Trading and Manufacturing Company Limited, a medical supply establishment has presented some food items and undisclosed amount of money to many vulnerable people in Accra and its environs.
The donation formed part of the company's initiative to help the less privileged ones during the lockdown in Accra and its adjourning communities, including Kasoa.
The company has been embarking on House to House Supply, Slum to Slum Supply and visitation of Disability Centres and Convergent Points Supply of the food and money.

The areas where the company did house to house supply included Kaneshie, Achimota, Tesano, Apemkwa, Alogboshie, Alajo, New Town, and Avenue.
Places such as Mile 7, St. John, Dome, Tabora-Alhaji, Taifa, ACP, Pokuase, Amasaman, Malam, Weija, Gbawe, Pambrose, Tetegu, Dansoman, Shiabu, Karikari Park and Ablekuman also benefited from the exercise.
For the slum to slum supply, Agbogboroshie and Alajo vicinity, as well as Kasoa Bus Stop, Kasoa Lorry Park, and Lartehbiorkorshie-paapiena benefited from the gesture.
The Managing Director, Mr Kwaku Koranteng Sasu, said coronavirus has brought untold hardship on many people in the country, particularly in the lockdown areas, hence the need to "support the poor and the vulnerable in the society in this strenuous time."
He explained that his company in the spirit of sustentation, has adopted three strategies, namely House to House Supply, Slum to Slum Supply and visitation of Disability Centres and Convergent Points Supply, for the distributing food items and envelopes of cash to boost the lives of the needy.
Mr Sasu said through the exercise, the company has reached out to thousands of people with food items and money.

"The world’s greatest enemy now, COVID-19, has saddled us with heavy responsibility, hence, it is imperative upon us to support the vulnerable," he noted.
He indicated that some of his team members also visited areas such as Sowutuom, Amanjor, Trantra Hill, Legon, Madina, Oyibi, Dodowa, Circle-Mr. Biggs and the like.
