Diplomatic Awards scheduled for Sept 14
The Diplomatic Affairs and Media Communications Limited (DAMC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration (MFARI) has introduced an award programme to honour and celebrate outstanding achievements in the field of diplomacy and international relations.

Dubbed: Diplomatic Awards, the award will also recognise, honor and celebrate outstanding diplomats and emissaries in Ghana and beyond for their contributions towards national, regional and global peace and stability.
The maiden edition is scheduled to take place September 14, on the theme; “Leveraging Diplomacy for Industrialization, Sustainable Development, Peace and Security”.
A press statement issued by the organisation and signed by the Founder and Executive Director, Harriet Nartey, said the programme would highlight the vital role that diplomacy played in shaping a more connected and peacefulworld.
It said awards would be presented across several categories, including excellence in peace and security, economic diplomacy, sustainable development goals, cultural diplomacy, distinguished career in diplomacy and many among others.
The statement said the event would also feature keynote addresses from prominent figures in international diplomacy and offer a platform for networking and collaboration among global leaders and key players.
